J'ai commencé les cours il y a déjà 2 semaines. Le bilan est plutôt positif : les matières sont relativement intéressantes (notamment "Globalisation" et "Corporate Social Responsibility"), les projets aussi (pas de midterms sauf en CSR, et des "group projects" dans tous mes cours).
Dans l'ensemble les cours sont, je trouve, assez faciles ; mais j'attends quand même de voir la tête de l'examen final. Chaque matière demande pas mal de travail personnel (lecture, recherches, etc.), mais c'est tout à fait faisable surtout lorsque l'on a entre 10-14h de cours par semaine.
Dans un de mes précédents posts j'avais expliqué que les cours se divisaient en "lectures" (la partie théorique) et les "tutorials" (la partie pratique). Les "lectures" sont peu intéressantes, mais malgré tout essentiel pour compléter son travail personnel. Les "tutorials" permettent d'obtenir plus d'informations pour les présentations de groupes.
NB: Futurs céramiens souhaitant étudier à GU en spécialisation "Management" je vous conseille de prendre les cours de TSE (Technology Society Environment) et OB (Organizational Behaviour). Ils vous seront bien utiles une fois ici.
I started Uni 2 weeks ago already. Outcomes are relatively positive: the courses are quite interesting (especially Globalisation and Corporate Social Responsibility), and the different projects we are asked to get done are meaningful (there is no midterm exam, except in CSR, otherwise I have some group projects in all of my subjects).
Generally speaking, the courses are fairly easy to follow; however, I will wait until I will see the final exam. Each course require time and personnel work (readings, researches, etc.), but it is really doable, especially since I have 10-14 hours of weekly attendance.
In one of my previous posts, I explained how the courses are divided into 'lectures' (theoretical part) and 'tutorials' (practical part). 'Lectures' are quite boring, yet, essential to complete the personnel work. 'Tutorials' allow a deeper understanding of what is expected for the group projects and exams.
NB: To all the students from Ceram who wish to study Business Management at GU, I advise you take the TSE (Technology Society Environment) and OB (Organisational Behaviour) courses.
